* paint light fixtures instead of buying new – I just took ours off and spray painted it gold
* paint hardware – we HAD to get rid of the leafy handles in this room but I usually just spray paint
* get faucets on amazon – I still need to replace ours with a gold one✨, but Amazon has faucets at a fraction of the price of Lowe’s/Home Depot etc
* shop your home – shop around your home for new rugs or art, or like we did with the shower curtain // I just swapped the girls bathroom one with this one
* make your own art! – I got this idea from a friend. I painted the geometric piece and made the dried flower art in the frame
* repurpose – I used an old basket for the trash can
* thrift! – I thrift first for EVERYTHING. It helps if you plan out a project and give yourself a few weeks to find something at the thrift store vs decide you want something done impulsively
* use left over paint – we used the leftover from our living area and we had *almost* enough but still saved $$
Here’s a short before and after of our recent bathroom refresh. && here are some tips to save money when redecorating!
